Four dedicated musicians have committed their energies and joined forces to give you the sonic nuclear assault of the thrash metal legends Megadeth! From buzzsaw riffs to majestic guitar solos, pounding bass lines and thunderous drums, capped off by the snarling attitude that made the heavy metal pioneers famous, Woke Up Dead is committed to bringing the audience the most authentic Megadeth experience you can get outside of the real thing! Playing everything from the maniacal speed metal of the Megadeth's early days through their arena headlining hits of the 1990s up to and including the group's latest material, Woke Up Dead gives you the full Megadeth experience! Currently thrashing on the Southern California and West Coast scene, Woke Up Dead is gearing up for gigs anywhere and everywhere! Since the band's debut in the spring of 2019, they have already played a number of high profile shows at the House of Blues and Music Box in San Diego as well as co-hosting an event and playing a set with none other than Megadeth bass guitar legend David Ellefson! Since then, Woke Up Dead vocalist Chaz Leon has gone on to tour and record with former Megadeth legends Ellefson, Chris Poland, and Jeff Young! There is no more authentic Mega-endorsement than that! Regardless of where they play, Woke Up Dead remain committed to becoming the world's state of the art Megadeth tribute band.
